Docker and restore problems
What prevents a physical restore from starting or completing in Docker.
Confirm
- Docker is installed and running.
- Sufficient local disk space exists.
- The selected backup is a completed physical backup.
- The PostgreSQL major version is compatible.
- Required WAL files are available.
- The target timestamp is reachable from the selected base backup.
Missing WAL segments or incompatible timelines can prevent recovery. Do not treat a partially recovered data directory as a successful restore.
