Test a database connection
Confirm Acrynite can reach a registered PostgreSQL profile before running a backup.
$acrynite database test-connection production
If the connection fails
Verify each of the following:
- Credentials, including username and password.
- Network access and firewall rules between the Acrynite host and PostgreSQL.
- SSL configuration and the registered
--ssl-mode. - PostgreSQL authentication rules in
pg_hba.conf. - That PostgreSQL accepts connections from the Acrynite host.
