Backup schedules

A schedule defines a recurring backup operation that runs through the scheduler daemon.

A schedule defines a recurring backup operation. Each scheduled execution receives its own backup ID and manifest, and runs the same validated backup flow as a manual run.

Schedules do not own history

Schedules do not own or automatically delete historical backup records. Every occurrence is an independent backup run. Removing or changing a schedule does not remove the backups it produced.

Creating a schedule starts Acrynite's scheduler daemon. That process must remain running according to your deployment environment for scheduled jobs to execute.
