Register an S3 destination
Create a reusable S3 storage profile for your backups and WAL archive.
$acrynite storage register s3-prod-backups \$ --provider s3 \$ --bucket company-backups \$ --prefix acrynite/production \$ --region eu-west-1
Credentials
The preferred authentication method is the AWS credential chain: environment credentials, a shared profile, or an instance or workload role. Access and secret keys can also be supplied during registration with --access-key and --secret-key.
Avoid passing --access-key and --secret-key where shell history is retained.
