Schedule recurring backups
Automate backups on a recurring interval with the Acrynite scheduler.
Create a schedule
$acrynite schedule create production-daily \$ --database production \$ --type physical \$ --interval 24h \$ --storage s3-prod-backups
$acrynite schedule create production-six-hourly \$ --database production \$ --type logical \$ --interval 6h \$ --storage s3-prod-backups
Interval syntax
Intervals use Go duration syntax.
| Interval | Meaning |
|---|---|
1h | One hour |
6h | Six hours |
24h | 24 hours |
168h | 168 hours (one week) |
A local --path destination is also supported by schedule creation.
The scheduler daemon must keep running
Creating a schedule starts the Acrynite scheduler daemon. The scheduler process must remain running according to your deployment environment. Every scheduled execution is an independent backup run with its own ID and manifest.
List schedules
$acrynite schedule list$acrynite schedule list --database production$acrynite schedule list --status enabled
