Create a logical backup

Run a PostgreSQL logical dump to S3 or a one-time local path.

$acrynite backup run \
$ --database production \
$ --type logical \
$ --storage s3-prod-backups

Logical backups require pg_dump in PATH.

One-time local destination

$acrynite backup run \
$ --database production \
$ --type logical \
$ --path /var/backups/acrynite

Storage and path are mutually exclusive

--storage refers to a registered S3 profile; --path is a one-time local destination, not a registered provider. Use one or the other. An optional--name labels the run.

A logical backup is restored into a separately registered PostgreSQL target, not back into the source profile. See the logical restore guide.
